As a first time log home purchaser I can’t say enough about the professionalism of Nathan Tolbert and his crew. Nathan guided us through the entire construction process, suggested design improvements along the way, and didn’t nickel and dime us on change orders. I appreciated that much of the work is performed with in-house workers and the subcontractors Tolbert uses are long-term partners. The quality of the finished home is outstanding and the (small) post delivery punch list was quickly completed to our full satisfaction.
In this world of shifty general contractors who delivery over budget and late homes I highly recommend a consummate construction professional—Nathan Tolbert—he’s a Godsend and breath of fresh air—you won’t be disappointed!

I went through a meticulous process of selecting a contractor, and would like to share my thoughts on Tolbert Contracting. Debbie and I were kept well informed as you constructed our Lake Anna cabin: from the grading of the property, to the building of the dock, to the completed home. We have now lived in the cabin for almost a year, and it gives me great pleasure to write this letter of commendation and testimony regarding your work product. Your personal contributions have made a marked difference in the professionalism of your team and subcontractors. It is easy to see that you take pride and instill in your subcontractors the high principles and standards established by Tolbert Contracting.
